One dog show and one bank robbery later, it looks like these financially turbulent times will claim not only Sam's childhood home, but also his relationship with Rachel. In the end, both dogs and humans learn some important lessons about making tough choices, the importance of family and love, and the power of collaboration. George Lopez returns as Papi, but virtually all the other roles have been recast from the first film: Odette Yustman takes over as Chloe, while Rachel is played by Erin Cahill and Aunt Viv by Susan Blakely.
